Store Manager
Position Summary
The Soda Bar Manager is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the assigned Soda Bar location and ensuring all team members during specified shift do the same. This includes preparing and serving soda beverages, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area, restocking supplies, and assisting customers with their orders. The ideal candidate will be able to train and be a mentor to Soda Bar team leads and team members. They should possess excellent communication skills, be knowledgeable about different soda flavors and combinations, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
· Lead team leads and members of store location in customer service and opening/closing activities.
· Training, mentoring and leading team leads and team members to ensure appropriate performance and high level of customer service.
· Responsible for monitoring inventory levels and restocking supplies as needed to ensure an uninterrupted soda bar operation.
· Responsible for scheduling team leaders and team members 2-3 weeks in advance, reviewing and approving time clock punches and weekly timesheets in preparation for payroll.
· Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking their orders and suggesting beverage options based on their preferences.
· Prepare and serve a variety of soda beverages, including mixing flavors, adding syrup, carbonating, and garnishing drinks.
· Manage changes to Toast menu, out of stock items, pricing & discounting as approved by ownership
· Ensure the soda bar area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies, including cups, straws, napkins, and flavorings.
· Operate and maintain soda dispensing equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition and promptly reporting any malfunctions or issues.
· Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, following appropriate cash handling procedures.
· Maintain knowledge of current soda flavors, promotions, and seasonal offerings to provide accurate information and recommendations to customers.
· Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper handwashing, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning equipment, and disposing of trash.
· Assist in maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment by actively participating in team meetings and offering suggestions for improvement.
· Be trained as Food Services Manager and maintain any necessary certifications
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
· 18+
· Minimum 30 hours/week
· Ability to lead teams and mentor and train other team members
· Previous experience in a customer service or food and beverage role is preferred.
· Knowledge of different soda flavors, combinations, and mixing techniques is an advantage.
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and team members.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and handle pressure during busy periods.
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change.
· Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
· Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy supplies when needed.
· A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive experience for guests.

· Ability to perform cleaning task such as sweeping, mopping, wiping counters/surfaces
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs - boxes of Soda syrup or other boxes of flavors, cups, lids, etc. for stocking
· Ability to wash dishes as needed
